My name is Jessica Lynn (left with my Maltese Finley Rose) , I am the mother of two, grandmother of 3 and great grandmother of 7! I am Co- Founder of Treats for Paws and Hooves, LLC, but also the owner and founder of Earth Song Ranch, improving horse health since 1998, a long time horse probiotic and herbal supplement business, being the first to use colostrum in our horse products in the market place. I am a life long equestrian, an equine nutritionist, herbalist, & have been practicing animal homeopathy for over 35 years. I am also an animal intuitive, as well as a hands on healer but also use Photonic Health Medical Grade Red Light/ Multi Light Therapy for my own animals and myself. I have always been passionate about natural health for horses, dogs and cats, as well as humans. The treat products we are now offering are all natural, supportive and health enhancing - and made in the USA with most ingredients from the USA. My name is Glenda Emery (right with my Yorkie Alfie) , mother of one, grandmother of two, I have been a life long animal lover and live on a 2.5 acre mini ranch in the high desert of Southern California with my husband and two dogs. I am an Liscensed Escrow Transaction Coordinator by day and I am an avid baker and dehydrator by nights and weekends, love love love to invent and make the treats. Born and raised in England, I have always been involved with animals from an early age, having pets through out my childhood and to date! With my own dogs I have been very sympathetic to their needs as they have been rescues for the most part and came to me with various health challenges, wherein I felt the need to provide healthy home cooked meals and home baked treats for their wellness and have opted for organic for the most part in a structured and carefully constructed diet. After moving to the US 30 years ago, we ended up moving back to take care of my elderly mother for a few years until her passing and returned to California where our son and his wife and my nephew, his wife and daughters live, going on 4 years ago (2022). Having lived in both countries I noticed a lack of any healthy treats being available, I wanted something better for my dogs, so one day Jessica and I were talking and we invested in some dog treat cookbooks we share, it was then we were on our way to making treats for our pets Then we said these are great, why not start a small woman owned business offering what we have come up with for our dogs and we also did some treats for Jessica's horse and mini's, so here we are! All of our recipes are totally unique in how we blend and craft them, we combined our multi talents to come up with what we do, together, but we have been doing this a long while and now to offer them, a natural line of treat products in the market place.
We are pretty much a two woman operation, although we do have two part time local ladies who are licensed and insured contract bakers - we are chief bakers and dehydrators, bookeepers, bottle & bowl washers, shippers, mixers, inventory keepers, label printers, along with being zen muckers; horse, dog and animals lovers, and everything in between; so please be patient with us as we get your treat orders hand baked and dehydrated then shipped to you. We do our best at all times for the many, and you cannot get what we do on Amazon or Chewy's or any place else, because each order is made and sent with love!
Nutrition plays the key role in maintaining our own dog's and horse's health, we belive in limited vaccines, no chemical fly sprays, or topical flea/tick products, limited chemical wormers and used only when necessary. No Round Up sprayed, not ever , around our properties, or dogs or our horses period!
In a world market filled with cheap, ineffective substances or ingredients from foreign countries and automated customer assistance, we strive to assist customer's in helping their dogs and horses to maintain or regain their health with our health enhancing treat products.
We also believe in supporting small businesses and rescues Including Baker Ranch Mini Sanctuary, Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary and Piper's Path Rescue, we also support Saving Pets One Pet at a Time by donating 10% of the sales of Duncan's Delights Dog Treats to them each month! All of our treats are made with Organic Flour grown and milled in the USA, in support of our farmers and you will not find them in “big box stores” or in the big pet stores.
The Beginning
The concept for Treats for Paws and Hooves. LLC began in the early Spring of 2025 when we both were disastified with what kind of healthy treats that were avaiable for our animals both pawed and hooved. After many month of R&D, trial and error using different organic flours, then finding the right suppliers for organic flours, and other organic ingredients, perfecting the recipes, as well as coming up with our own, then learning how to dehydrate and attemptng freeze drying along with some help from many dogs in the variou rescues we support ,to be our taste testers, we came up with the perfect first offereings to be in /on our webstore in June2026!
With a lot of hard work and creativity in the way of recipes and finding the right size and shaper cookie cutters we were finally ready to build our first website/store which we did ourselves, with a lot of hours of time! We will continue to make changes as we go, we will continue to add other fun treats along the way, and we continue to grow our business in helping people to find the perfect limited ingredient treats in to the future and make our products affordable to the many not the few!

Treats for Paws and Hooves, LLC is dedicated to working with a team of companies who have integrity and a high standard of ethics, that provide us with the certified organic igredients we use, or whom may be baking or dehydrating for us as we grow, purchasing ingredients grown, milled or manufacured in the USA.
